“Eureka” was stick-framed in 1927 by W.J. Lund Co. in October of 1928, in her 92nd year the craft trades of Improvement Co. executed a period-correct revival of her ‘burlington-northern-boxcar’ unit from stem to stern. Eureka was aptly titled for her existing hvac vent covers that were lovingly enameled in the same shade of deep forest used to celebrate her surviving shaker kitchens.
Like every step forward in the creative direction of our portfolio examples, our team took immense strides in proving what the vintage home is capable of. Led by the foreman-of-the-century Grandpa Kevin: her original sidewinder floorplan is machinist-efficient with every square inch working towards the enjoyment of these liveaboard classics.
Eureka was richly appointed in period-correct castings from her entry sconce to the westerly mudroom with batten wallcovering spilling from her playful sauna leaning washroom. Kitchen centers her common areas, providing an open inviting interior that commands good energy & engaging conversation.
