The Botanic 🌿 Bungalow of 1925

3625 Boardman Street, Minneapolis, MN 55417

The botanic bungalow of 1925: a naturalist’s haven nestled on a sprawling lot measuring 50’ wide & 135’ deep. The owners have curated a moody plant-led theme that takes the energy of nature inside, via immense south & west facing Marvin windows.

Entry porch is vintage douglas fir under paneled ceiling wrapped in Monray storms, opening to red oak main floor - cozy cabin style open layout. Marvin MAC windows throughout, dining off the large living room open to the lower owner’s suite. Kitchen is updated galley with southwestern flair of ceramic tile. A recently built-out rear entry mudroom greets you from the southern facing deck. Main floor bath has post-modern fire glazed tiles & vintage chic aesthetic.

Updates throughout include MAC windows, dual primary egresses, lighting & electrical, A. Pietig retaining wall, & of course an immense seasonal layering of garden perennials that fill the oversized lot with the colors of Minnesota seasons.
