Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

The Bennett's mighty 1924 Craftsman live in Central

The Bennett's mighty 1924 Craftsman live in Central

Penny & Mike purchased this cozy bungalow in 2004 before the major collapse in values.  They looked throughout Powderhorn, Kingfield and Central Minneapolis.   Craftsman millwork was a must, and the deceptively large size of this bungalow suited their needs to have a family.   The Desire to move was two fold, however Penny was instrumental in bringing the Seward Friendship store to the Bryant Neighborhood, just two blocks south.

The Bennett's made an impact on the community in central, and they have great pride in seeing the immense changes over the course of their stay there.

Prior to listing, we high-lighted the moody and storied millwork throughout the common areas. This was accomplished by a simple white wash in a creamy tone.

Cap & wrap throughout, in period oak, with enormous buttress columns dividing the living and dining.

Radiator covers were left in the alley to make a scrapers midday!    Celebrating the radiator is one of our rudimentary early milerstones for understanding your classic home.
